It was a late afternoon and the blazing, golden sun is about to plunge into the horizon painting vibrant hues of pink, orange and purple in the sky and giving it a tinge of the soon to come night sky. Things inside Colonel Roy Mustang's office were slowly starting too cool off as the end of the day draws nearer. Roy's work was far from over but his mind was wondering not-so-far away. While pretending to sign some papers, his eyes meandered to his first lieutenant's face. The sun's rays reflected magnificently on her face. It was as if she was bathed in exquisite light. It's raining. Big, dark gray clouds hung over the sky as raindrops continue to fall, making its way towards the ground. People are running all over the place to find shade and/or opening their umbrellas to protect themselves from the rain. It's raining. Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye can hear the continuous pit-patting of the raindrops as they collide with the glass windows or the ground. She loves the rain.
